We went to our first agility show of 2011. Mom was running all 3 of us in AKC for the first time. We kept her busy running from ring to ring, walking and running courses. I had some nice runs. I would have Q'd my Standard run had I not popped at at pole #10 and then Mom cut me off at the last jump, which made me knock the bar, rather then run into her. Mom was pleased that I was moving well and would have made time. There is hope that I can get my AXP title.

Logan was running in his first AKC show. He is following in my pawsteps as his went off twice to visit ring crew...wonder if it's a lab thing. He had a great run, knocked one bar otherwise he would have Q'd. Mom was thrilled with his performance.

Finally, Tucker had a not so nice Standard run, for which Mom took responsibility. She thinks it was all the running back and forth between rings and handing us off to friends to hold while she walked the next course.

The last run of the day was Tucker's Open JWW...well did he show us. He had a clean run and earned his OJP title, which was one year to the day since he earned his NJP title. Needless to say, Mom was excited to go home with a Q, First Place and Title ribbon. Way to go Tucker!!!

Mom took a few months off from competing, but we will be back in action on February 19. Logan will be making his AKC agility debut...woohoo Logan, he finally learned weave poles. In October Mom tried retraining his weaves using a different technique..two-by-twos. That's how I learned weave poles. Why did it take Mom sooooo long to figure out that maybe it would work for Logan.

It will be a busy day for Mom as she will be running all three of us. I am in two Excellent classes, Tucker is in two Open classes and Logan is in two Novice classes. I hope for Mom's sake she does not have too many conflicts. Check back to see how it goes.
