My name is Weymouth's Scottish Brodie or Brodie for short.  Once again Mom headed out today with just Logan. They went to the Mid-Jersey Labrador Retriever Club show for Logan to again run in Rally Obedience. Again, Logan Q'd with a second place.

Mom got to visit with my breeder Susan and Logan's breeder Joan. She loves going to all Lab events.

Mom and Logan left on Saturday to head to St. Louis for the Labrador Nationals. They drove to Columbus and then arrived in St. Louis on Sunday afternoon. They will be attending the Lab Nationals at Purina Farms. Logan will be competing in agility and rally obedience on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Logan had some nice runs in Open JWW and Std both days but did not Q either day. Mom said it was great seeing all the labs and only labs running in agility.

Logan did have more success in Rally earning a Q with a second place finish both days. With these Qs he also earned his Rally Novice title...WTG Logan. Logan only started training in rally this spring...congratulations Logan RN.

On Thursday they headed back to Columbus to finally arrive home on Friday. Dad, Tucker, Riley and I were so glad to see them.

Mom has retired me from AKC agility as she does not want me jumping 16 inches, but Tucker and Logan were entered today. Tucker did not Q in his Ex Std run but had a nice run none the less.

As for Logan, he Q'd in Open FAST...not bad for the youngster.  Tucker and I were never able to Q in Open FAST, so Mom stopped entering us in FAST. More importantly he earned e Q's in  Novice Standard Q to earn his NAP title. This just before heading out to the Labrador Nationals in October. This means he will be running in Open at the Nationals...congratulations Logan.

Oh, did I mention that Mom and Dad brought home another lab puppy on September 1st. Of course he is black, he was 8 weeks old when he joined the pack. His name is Beechcroft's Life of Riley, or Riley for short.

I am still working on getting back in shape, so I stayed home with the new puppy, Riley. Tucker finally earned his Open Standard Preferred (OAP) title. It took over 4 years and 51 runs, but he go the elusive third Q. This even with a chute into a triple. Mom was able to get his attention so he saw the triple.

Logan had a nice Open JWW run, but did not Q.

Finally, I am back at an agility show. I got to run 2 events each day and was able to Q in Level 4 Colors....woohoo, I am back. A little slow but made it through the courses.

Logan had some nice runs and Q'd in Level 2 Standard to earn his CL2-R title. Tucker Q's in Colors, so we all came home with ribbons. Mom was overjoyed.
