Another Q-less day in agility. Even though we had some nice runs and came close a few times, there were no Qs to be had.

Mom is pleased that overall Logan is not knocking bars and better under control.

Tucker still cannot seem to get the last Open Standard Q needed for his title, but he seems to be getting closer.

This weekend was our first outdoor trial since October...and it rained on Saturday. I love running in the cool, wet and muddy weather. Mom says I am a "mudder" like some horses who run better in the mud. Once again the bad weather was to my advantage, as I earned my very first Excellent B Q in Standard. This is Mom and my first Ex B level Q. I just made time, so no points were earned, but it is a start. I had 3 clean runs out of 4 runs, but was over time by 4 seconds on the other 2 clean runs.

Tucker and Logan did not Q. They had a few good and a few bad runs, but we all had fun. We are all still waiting for that third Q to get titles. Maybe in a few weeks. Check back to see.

Another trip to Dream Park. Though I had some nice runs, I did not Q today. Logan earned his second Novice Standard Q with a First place finish and Tucker earned his third Excellent A JWW Q and his title, also with a First place finish.

We now are all on the verge o a title. Logan has two Qs in Novice JWW and Std, Tucker has two Qs in Open Std and and I have two in ExA JWW. Maybe next trial one of use will get another title.

Today was our first agility trial of 2012. We had been on agility hiatus since November. Up at 4AM for the long dirve to Dream Park. Mom was busy all day running from ring to ring. Though there were some minor conflicts, she seemed to manage it well.

I had an okay day, but did not Q. I blew the weave poles in Std so that put me over time. Then there was the EX JWW course from hell (for me at least). It was full of pinwheels so I never got up any speed. Mom thought I was going to give up midway through it, but we kept with it and finished the course. Of course I nailed my weave poles, go figure.

Logan missed weave poles in his Open FAST run, so even though he completed the Bonus (yah) he was over time. On his Novice Std run he blew the dogwalk and A-frame contacts....that will definitely be on his training plan this week. Mom was not pleased with that, He did have a nice Novice JWW run, but knocked the second bar. He gets soooo excited off the start line he does that a lot. Mom was pleased that he stayed with her and seemed to be better under control.

So, last but not least, Tucker saved the day again. He too had to run that EX JWW course with all the pinwheels. He made it through clean, but Mom thought he was over time by 7 seconds....DAH...she looked at the wrong SCT. Luckily she checked the score sheet and found to her amazement that Tucker had Q'd with a Second Place finish...woohoo Tucker. Tucker once again missed his Open Std title. It's been over 3 years...maybe next month.

All three of us now has two Qs in our respective JWW levels and Tucker has 2 Qs in Open STD....so maybe in March one or more of us will come home with a new title.

Mom had us up at 4AM to make the 2 hr trek to Dream Park. I had the first run of the day, Ex JWW. I knocked a bar, missed the weave entry but had a good run otherwise.

Logan had the next run, Novice FAST. He accumulated 57 points in under 27 second to Q and get a Third Place finish. The big news is that it also earned him his first AKC agility title, Novice FAST Preferred (NFP). Mom was thrilled.

NExt up was Tucker with his Open Standard run. He had a clean run, 10 seconds under time to give him his second Open Std Q....woohoo Tucker is back in form.

Then I ran my Ex Std course....I visited with the Judge, visited with the ring crew, missed my weave entry, but had a lot of fun.

Logan ran Novice Std and Novice JWW but did not Q. Tucker ran the same Ex JWW course I did but knocked a bar, so he too did not Q. Mom was still pleased with his run.

All and all not a bad agility day for the lab pack. Maybe next week I'' get a Q.
